I purchased a Digidisign Digi003 Rack and it included Pro Tools LE 8. When I hooked it up to my computer and tried to install Pro Tools LE 8.0, I recieved the Blue Screen of Death as soon as it loaded. I looked for an update on Avid's website (avid bought out Digidesign), I found an update, 8.01 and still receieved the blue screen. Alittle more searching I found 8.03 and this update still did not fix the issue. then finally I found Pro Tools 8.05 Update this update fixed the problem.
****Also note that even though when loading the software it says to have your interface pluged in DO NOT PLUG IT IN****until it is fully installed
